Warren Pottebaum is a highly experienced professional in structural engineering and project management, currently serving as Principal and Associate Principal at Buehler since March 2018, focusing on structural engineering project management and business development. Previously, Warren held the position of Vice President at Thornton Tomasetti from February 2009 to February 2018, managing design projects primarily in the Healthcare, Education, and Commercial sectors. In addition to corporate roles, Warren has been an Aikido Instructor at Bay Area Shodokan Aikido since August 1996, specializing in the Tomiki (Shodokan) style. Earlier career experience includes a role as Associate at DASSE Design, Inc from May 1997 to February 2009, emphasizing structural engineering design and project management. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California.
