Paul Sachs

Paul Sachs has over 15 years of work experience in the software development industry. Paul began their career as a Computer Sales Associate at STAPLES Canada in 2005. In 2010, they became a Software Engineer at Espial, where they developed UI elements for showcasing the capabilities of Espial's client platform for IP TV. In 2012, they joined Varicent Software as a Software Developer, developing Microsoft ASP. NET MVC web applications at all layers. Paul then joined IBM in the same year as a Senior Software Developer, leading a team of developers and performing technical interviews. In 2015, they moved to Influitive as a Front End Web Developer, working on cutting edge front end design patterns with React and Redux. In 2017, they were promoted to Front End Architect at IBM, defining the front end standards used across several projects and building tools to help other developers. In 2020, they joined Varicent as a Front End Architect and in 2022, they became a Front End Web Developer at Buf.

Paul Sachs attended the University of Ottawa from 2004 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science with Honours and a Specialization in Computer Science.
