Garrett Adams, CPA, currently serves as an Accountant at Buffalo Toronto Public Media since June 2021. Prior professional experience includes roles as a Staff Accountant at Brock, Schechter & Polakoff, LLP from January 2020 to June 2021, and at Schunk, Wilson & Company CPAs PC from January 2019 to January 2020. Garrett began a career in accounting with an internship as a forensic accountant at Center for Elder Law & Justice in 2018 and has earlier experience in various positions, including office clerk/bookkeeper at Amthor Glass and Mirror Co. Inc. and intern at Buffalo Public Schools. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Accounting from Niagara University Graduate School, a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) with a concentration in Information Technology from the University at Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Applied Linguistics also from the University at Buffalo.
