Louise Foulkes is a seasoned professional in civil and environmental engineering with a focus on disaster resilience and sustainable housing solutions. Currently serving as the Caribbean Director and Engineering Program Manager at Build Change since May 2018, Louise oversees projects related to housing design, damage assessments, and retrofitting strategies throughout the Caribbean, with notable work in Dominica and St Lucia. Prior experience includes roles at Arup and MASS Design Group, where Louise led significant structural engineering projects and contributed to international development efforts in Bangladesh and Pakistan. Louise holds a Master of Engineering from Imperial College London and a degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
