Johnny Chankhamany

Johnny Chankhamany has a long history of work experience in the finance and technology fields. Johnny began their career in 2007 as a Curriculum Writer for AKAMAI Alpha and a Senior Analyst for AKAMAI Capital. In 2008, they took on an internship as a Research Analyst for DeMatteo Monness. From 2009 to 2010, they were the President of AKAMAI Foundation, and from 2009 to 2017 they were the VP Finance & Ops for AKAMAI Capital. In 2017, they became a Staff Accountant for Kakoo Services, and in 2020 they became a Financial Analyst, Investor Relations & Strategic Planning for Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. Most recently, in 2022, they became Program Director at Builders VC, focused on Series A companies bringing technology and operational excellence to antiquated industries.

Johnny Chankhamany obtained their BBA in Finance from the University of Hawai’i - Shidler College of Business in 2007. Johnny is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Finance from the same institution.
