Charley Burtwistle has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in data science, software development, and research. Starting in 2015, Charley worked as a Research Student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Doane University in 2015 and 2016, respectively. In 2017, Charley worked as a Software Developer at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where they developed a Python package for analyzing the value of disaster resilience investments. The following year, Charley worked as a Software Developer at Sandhills Publishing as a Systems Intern in the Data Analytics Department. Charley joined Buildertrend in 2018, holding several roles including Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Senior Manager of Data Science, and Director of Data Science. Charley's current role at Buildertrend is Director of Business Performance, a position they have held since December 2022.
Charley Burtwistle completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics at Doane University from 2014 to 2018. Charley then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management at Creighton University's Heider College of Business, which they completed from 2019 to 2021.
