Elena L. is a project manager and project liaison at the Detroit Land Bank Authority since September 2019, leveraging experience gained as a Year 8 Fellow with Challenge Detroit and as a teaching assistant and research fellow at Bryn Mawr College. At Bryn Mawr, Elena advised students in the Growth and Structure of Cities major and conducted research on organizations promoting environmental sustainability in Detroit. Prior to this, Elena interned with Bridging International Communities, providing support for urban agricultural initiatives and grant applications. Elena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Growth and Structure of Cities from Bryn Mawr College and studied Environmental Studies abroad through IES Abroad in 2018.
