Jason Russell is an experienced events professional with a robust background in managing and delivering high-quality events across various organizations. Currently serving as Head of Events at the Building Societies Association since January 2019, Jason previously held similar roles at CILIP: The Library and Information Association, where responsibilities included overseeing a commercial events program and meeting budgetary targets. Prior experience includes serving as Events Manager at AHDB-HGCA, focusing on strategic planning and stakeholder communication, as well as managing all aspects of event production at Partridge Design. Jason earned a BA (Hon.) in Business Studies (Leisure, Recreation and Tourism) from the University of West London.

Building Societies Association
The Building Societies Association (BSA) is the voice for all 42 UK building societies and also represents seven of the larger credit unions. Building societies are for people, not shareholders. But what does this mean? Building societies are mutual organisations, therefore owned by their customers. They are therefore not driven by external shareholder pressure and operate in the interests of their members and their local communities. Building Societies have successfully looked after savings and provided mortgages for more than two hundred years.
