Vlad Bondarenko

Vlad Bondarenko currently serves as the Lead AI Engineer at Built AI since July 2025. Prior to this role, Vlad held positions as a Senior Data Engineer and Data Scientist at CarbonChain between April 2022 and July 2025, and earlier as a Data Scientist and Graduate Data Scientist at THG from July 2020 to April 2022. Vlad's career began at Sheffield Solar as an Assistant Data Analyst, where management of a large-scale MySQL database and script optimization were key responsibilities. Vlad also contributed as President of the SAIS Sheffield Artificial Intelligence Society from June 2018 to July 2020, expanding the society's membership and organizing educational events. Vlad completed a Master's degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at The University of Sheffield, graduating in 2020.
