Ángela Cano Sancho

Ángela Cano Sancho is a Senior KYC Agent at bunq since June 2022, focusing on KYC and enhanced due diligence in compliance with EU regulations, along with conducting regular reviews of business accounts per DNB requirements. Previously, Ángela held the position of KYC Agent where foundational knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC, EDD, and CDD was developed. Prior experience includes a Computational Intern role at Radboudumc, analyzing transcriptional regulatory networks in cardiomyocyte differentiation using Python, and a Summer Intern role at Hospital Virgen de la Luz, performing microbiological analyses. Ángela holds a BSc in Biotechnology from Universitat Politècnica de València and completed an Erasmus+ program at the University of Helsinki.
