Sjors Berends

Sjors Berends has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sjors is currently working at bunq, where they began as a Risk Assistant and later transitioned to the role of Graduate Intern. Sjors then progressed to become a Jr. Risk Officer and M&A Analyst, and currently holds the position of Risk Officer and M&A Analyst. Prior to their time at bunq, Sjors worked at D.R.V. Euros as a Coaching Student Athlete, specifically focusing on rowing. Sjors also held the role of Student Athlete (rowing) during their time at the company. Additionally, Sjors worked at ROSEN as a Graduate Student and later as a Data-analyst/Software programmer.

Sjors Berends completed their education in a chronological order. Between 2019 and 2021, they attended the University of Twente, where they pursued a Master's degree in Financial Engineering and Management (MSc). Before that, from 2013 to 2017, they attended Saxion University of Applied Sciences, specializing in Applied Physics. Prior to their university studies, from 2007 to 2013, Sjors Berends attended Van der Capellen Lassuslaan, where they completed their Atheneum and acquired an International Baccalaureate A1 English degree.
