Alexandria Brooks

Alexandria "Lexi" Brooks currently serves as an Economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics since April 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Resident Assistant at Christopher Newport University from August 2019 to August 2023, where effective leadership and creative problem-solving were utilized to help residents achieve departmental goals. Additionally, Lexi held a Campaign Intern position for Ian Lovejoy for the VA House of Delegates during the summer of 2019, focusing on data analysis related to demographics and voter turnout. Lexi also interned at National Spine & Pain Centers in 2019, managing confidential data while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Lexi earned a degree in Economics and Political Science with a focus on Political Economy from Christopher Newport University in 2022, supplemented by training from the Phi Sigma Pi Leadership Academy.
