Yaa Opoku-Agyeman

Yaa Opoku-Agyeman is an experienced economist currently employed at the Bureau of Labor Statistics since April 2022. Prior roles include serving as a Teacher Assistant at The3PointFoundation, where Yaa created and taught a custom math curriculum for underserved students, and working as an Enumerator for the U.S. Census Bureau, conducting important research. Experience as an Assistant Manager at Dunkin' Brands involved hiring, training, and managing employee performance. Yaa also contributed as a Senior Peer Mentor at the University of Massachusetts Boston, assisting in co-curricular programming for students, and completed internships in the U.S. Congress, where responsibilities included constituent intake and research on legislation. Yaa holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field, complemented by a focus on economics.
