Research Scientist - Hydrology at Bureau of Meteorology

Fitsum Woldemeskel (PhD) is a seasoned research scientist specializing in hydrology with extensive experience in both academic and operational settings. Currently, at the Bureau of Meteorology since July 2015, Fitsum has advanced through roles including Research Scientist, Senior Flood Operations Specialist, and Hydrologist. Prior to this, from October 2013 to June 2015, Fitsum was a Post-doctoral Research Scientist and Lecturer at UNSW, where responsibilities included instructing postgraduate courses and conducting research on climate change impacts on hydrology.
