Jack Walden

Jack Walden is an accomplished communications leader with extensive experience in media relations, strategic planning, and program management. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of Communications Delivery at the Bureau of Meteorology since November 2021, Jack oversees various aspects of communication, including government relations and risk management, and manages products like the Australian Weather Calendar. Previous roles include Chief Communicator at the c word communications agency, Community Manager at Journeys to Come, and Director of Communications and Events at the Victorian Healthcare Association, where Jack implemented strategic communications and policy initiatives. Jack also held leadership positions in prestigious organizations such as veski and the Shared Value Project, and actively contributed to the Public Relations Institute of Australia as Victorian President and National Board Member. Jack holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing and Public Relations from the Queensland University of Technology.
