Steve Duggan serves as the General Manager of the Energy and Resources Program at the Bureau of Meteorology since November 2013, where responsibilities include strategic engagement and deployment of capabilities to enhance Australia's Energy and Resources sectors. Prior to this role, Steve led national cross-functional teams as the National Sector Lead for the Resources Industry and managed flood services and forecasting in Western Australia. Previous experience includes positions at Water Technology Pty Ltd, where Steve was involved in eco-hydraulics and environmental assessments, and an early role as a Student Engineer at Snowy Hydro Limited. Steve holds a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering with Honours from Monash University and completed leadership programs at Melbourne Business School and the Australian Public Service Academy.
