Diego Serrano

Diego Serrano is a seasoned professional in the field of forestry and environmental management, currently serving as the Leader of the Restoration Acceleration Program at BRCarbon since November 2020. With extensive experience at C3 - Floresta, Meio Ambiente & Energia as a Forest Engineer, Diego specializes in forest carbon management projects including A/R and REDD+, as well as greenhouse gases inventories. Additionally, expertise as a Validator/Verifier of GHG Projects at Bureau Veritas demonstrates a strong focus on LULUCF and AFOLU projects. Diego's prior roles include consultancy for carbon project development at WWF and Conservation International, and managerial positions in diverse organizations. Academic credentials include a degree in Forestry from USP - Universidade de São Paulo and a Master's in Energy Systems Planning from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
