Elsa Saelens has a diverse background in environmental and geological sciences, currently serving as an Engineer Intern at Burgess & Niple since January 2018. Previous experience includes roles as a Geoscientist-in-the-Park with the National Park Service, an Outdoor Educationalist at Columbus Recreation and Parks, and a Research Assistant in Geochemistry at Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center. Elsa also contributed as an Executive Secretary at NASA and held positions as an Independent Research Intern at Shell and a Research Technician with the McMurdo Dry Valleys Long Term Ecological Research program. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from The Ohio State University.
