John Shanks has a work experience spanning over three decades in engineering. John started their career at Boeing as a Structural Engineer from 1981 to 1983. John then joined Rockwell International as a Structural Engineer from 1983 to 1987. After that, they worked at John E Foster & Associates as a Bridge Engineer from 1987 to 1989. Finally, they joined Burgess & Niple, Inc. as the Director of Bridge & Structural Design in 1990, where they continue to work.
John Shanks attended The Ohio State University from 1977 to 1980. John obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering during this period.
