Steve Thieken began their work experience in 1994 as a Transportation Engineer at Shaw, Weiss, & DeNaples. Steve then joined Burgess & Niple in 1996, where they held the position of Transportation Engineering and Planning Specialist. Steve eventually became a Vice President at Burgess & Niple.
Steve Thieken has a strong educational background in civil engineering. Steve obtained their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Dayton, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation at The Ohio State University from 1998 to 2003.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Steve Thieken holds several certifications relevant to their field. Steve is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). Steve is also a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer, certified by the Institute of Transportation Engineers. Furthermore, Steve Thieken is a registered Professional Engineer in various states, including Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, Michigan, and West Virginia.
