David Boyd is an experienced civil engineer with a focus on hydrology and hydraulic modeling. David has worked at Burk - Kleinpeter, Inc. since 2018, starting as the Vice President of the Civil Engineering Section. Prior to that, they were an associate and licensed civil engineer at Burk Kleinpeter, Inc. from 2006, specializing in hydrology and hydraulic modeling. Before joining the company, David worked at Huber Inc. as an Engineer In Training, assisting in the design of hydraulic power units and steering systems. David also has experience as an inspector at Professional Services Inc., performing various tests for construction projects. Additionally, David worked at Trail N Sail as a broker, handling sailboat sales and providing demonstrations to customers.

David Boyd's education history includes attending Jesuit High School in New Orleans from 1983 to 1987, where they completed a College Prep program. After completing high school, they went on to attend Tulane University from 1987 to 1992, with a focus on American Literature. David then pursued further education at the University of New Orleans from 1999 to 2004, graduating with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Civil Engineering.
