Samuel Leon

Samuel Leon, CPA, has a diverse range of work experience in the field of accounting and tax services. Samuel started their career as a Junior Accountant at Accounting and Tax Services from September 2013 to August 2015. Samuel then worked as an Auditor at Deloitte from September 2015 to March 2017. Following that, they served as a Tax Accountant at WOLF MARYLES & ASSOCIATES, L.L.C. from May 2017 to October 2019. Later, they joined Accountalent as a Tax Manager from December 2019 to December 2021. Currently, Samuel holds a position at Burkland as the Tax Manager - R&D Credit, a role they have held since January 2022. Additionally, they have taken up the responsibility of being the Head of R&D Tax Credits and Incentives at Burkland starting from May 2023. Samuel's work experience spans across various positions in accounting, auditing, and tax management, with a focus on providing strategic guidance and financial insight to startups during their growth stages.

Samuel Leon, CPA holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hunter College, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Bard College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature. Samuel'shigh school education was completed at Manalapan High School. In 2018, Samuel obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from NYSSCPA - The New York State Society of CPAs.
