Jose Avila started their career as a Senior Developer at Ezboard in 2004. Jose then worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco for a few months in 2007 before joining Kickapps Corporation/Yuku as a Network Lead. In 2009, they became the Vice President of Engineering at Crowdstar and held this position until 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they served as the Vice President of Engineering at Glu Mobile. Currently, they are the CTO and Co-Founder of Burlingame Studios, a position they have held since 2022.
From 1998 to 2004, Jose Avila attended the Universidad Francisco Marroquín, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance. During their time there, their field of study focused on Tax Law and Taxation.
