Joseph Sheils

Joseph Sheils serves as the Executive Vice President and President of Consumer and Digital Banking at Busey, leading key teams and strategies for Consumer, Community, Mortgage, and Digital Banking since June 2022. Prior to this, Joseph was the President of Commonwealth Consulting, LLC, where expertise in strategic planning and financial services was utilized from August 2019 to June 2022. Joseph also held significant roles at Fifth Third Bank, MB Financial Bank, LaSalle Bank NA, and Bank of America, amassing extensive experience in retail and commercial banking. Joseph's academic credentials include an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in English from Loyola University Chicago.
