Nancy Galyen

Nancy Galyen is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Event Experience Manager at Busey since January 2024. Prior to this role, Galyen worked as a Communications Specialist at Parkland College from April 2023 to January 2024. A lengthy tenure at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. spanned from March 2008 to March 2023, where Galyen held positions including TV News Executive Producer and Executive Producer for ciLiving at WCIA 3, during which time Galyen received recognition from the Illinois Broadcasters Association for excellence in newscasting. Earlier experience includes various producer roles at WVLT Local 8 News and WTHI-TV, where responsibilities ranged from managing assignments to producing newscasts. Galyen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Radio and Television from Indiana State University and an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Danville Area Community College.
