Renata George

Renata George currently serves as Program Director at VC Academy since February 2017 and is actively involved in promoting diversity in venture capital through the role at PEI - Alternative Insight. In addition to these positions, Renata has been an investor in various startups, including Handl, Butlr, Spenny, BuildStream, Sable, and Coursalytics, all of which are part of the Y Combinator Winter 2020 and Summer 2019 cohorts. Renata also acts as a strategic advisor for awarenow and has been an angel investor with AngelList since March 2010. The educational background includes an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, a master's degree in Venture Investments from the Russian Academy of National Economy, and bachelor's degrees from the Institute of Management, Economics and Business, and Kursk State Medical University.
