Hamid Soleimani

Hamid Soleimani is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in integrated circuit design, particularly within the biomedical field. Currently serving as a Principal IC Design Engineer at Butterfly Network, Inc. since October 2021, Hamid focuses on DSP post-silicon bring-up and debugging, achieving notable feature delivery, as well as functionality verification using the open-source cocotb library. Prior to this role, Hamid held positions as a Senior IC Design Engineer and an IC Design Engineer at the same company, contributing to projects involving beamforming, imaging digital design, low power ADC design, and wireless systems for ultrasound imaging. Hamid holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London, obtained in 2019.
