Kurt Huie, ASA has a strong and diverse work experience in valuation and financial analysis. Kurt is currently a Senior Vice President at BVA Group, where they specialize in tangible asset valuation with a focus on energy, chemical process, and food and beverage production. Kurt previously held the role of Vice President at BVA, where they specialized in the valuation of MLP drop downs, oil and gas infrastructure, property tax, financial reporting, and complex facility insurance. Before joining BVA, Kurt worked as a Senior Associate at Duff & Phelps. Kurt also has consultancy experience as a Consultant at American Appraisal, where they performed valuations for clients in the mining and energy sector, including companies such as Hilcorp, Spectra Energy, and Phillips 66. Kurt began their career as a Research Director at Taylor Winfield, where they were responsible for the candidate pool for executive searches in various industries including food service, retail, computer software, and web-based marketing.
Kurt Huie, ASA, completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government at Southern Methodist University from 2002 to 2006. During the same period, they also pursued a Minor in History at the same institution.
