Thomas Young has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Thomas started their career as an intern at BW Offshore in 2011 and later joined Ventelo as a Sales Consultant from 2007 to 2010. In 2012, they returned to BW Offshore as a Commercial Analyst and progressively moved up to become Senior Vice President Commercial Strategy & Analysis in 2019. In 2020, they joined BW Energy as the Chief Strategy Officer.
Thomas Young attended Vågsbygd VGS from 2005 to 2008 but did not obtain a degree or major in any specific field. Later, from 2009 to 2012, they studied at Griffith University where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with a double major in Finance and Economics.
