Dan Mendum

Dan Mendum is an experienced Instrument Technician currently serving as a stand-in senior at BW Offshore since May 2023. Prior to this role, Dan held the position of Instrument and ICSS Supervisor at Semco Maritime from June 2019 to May 2023, contributing to the offshore commissioning for the Totalenergies Tyra Redevelopment Project. Dan also worked as an Offshore Instrument Technician at Wood from January 2016 to May 2019, where responsibilities included maintaining instrumentation, fire and gas systems, ballast control systems, and fiscal metering aboard the Balmoral. Dan began the professional journey as an Opito Apprentice Instrument Technician under BP sponsorship, completing the apprenticeship from September 2013 to December 2015, following a solid educational foundation with a Higher National Certificate in Measurement & Control and a National Certificate in Engineering Systems from Edinburgh College.
