Chris Donat, CFA, currently serves as the Senior Vice President and FinTech & Payments Research Sector Lead at BWG Strategy LLC, moderating virtual forums for experts in the FinTech and Payments industries since October 2022. Prior to this role, Chris worked at Piper Sandler for 17 years as a Senior Equity Research Analyst, focusing on Payments and WealthTech stocks, with a comprehensive coverage of major companies. Chris also held positions at Jefferies & Company, Brilleon Capital, Robertson Stephens, White & Case, and the Atlantic Council of the United States, gaining diverse experience in research, trading, and corporate fundraising. Chris holds an M.A. in International Economics and European Studies from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a B.A. in International Relations from Pomona College.
