Mika Matikainen is a seasoned creative professional with diverse experience as a Creative Director and Co-founder at Paloceras, where the focus is on crafting unique designs influenced by time and light. As a Partner at AirImpact, Mika contributes to climate action by enhancing carbon project management through innovative digital solutions. Additionally, as the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Unleonis, Mika explores design's potential in ambiguous contexts. Mika is also a co-founder of byFounders, an early-stage venture fund supporting ambitious teams in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Previous roles include advisory positions at Sane and Zippie, and serving as a Designer in Residence at the Mouraria Innovation Centre in Lisbon.
