Biswajit Sarma received a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from Cotton College in 1997. Biswajit then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Polymer Science from Tezpur University, which they completed in 1999. Later, in 2006, they attended the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, where they obtained a degree in Executive Program in Business Management (EPBM).
