Eef Dirksen is an accomplished professional in biopharmaceutical development, currently serving as the Head of Department for Analytical Validation and Quality Control at Byondis since January 2015, managing a team of 45 staff. Responsibilities include overseeing analytical activities for early-stage CMC development, validating analytical methods, and conducting IND/IMPD-enabling studies. Eef Dirksen also leads a group focused on extended analytical characterization and develops bioanalytical assays utilizing liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. Prior experience includes roles at MSD managing biochemical characterization, and at Philips Research providing analytical support in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry. Eef Dirksen's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry from Utrecht University and an M.Sc. in Food Chemistry/Biochemistry from Wageningen University & Research.
