Benen O'Brien

Production Assistant at C-SPAN

Benen O'Brien is an experienced Production Assistant at C-SPAN since February 2015, having previously interned at the same organization in 2013 under Senior Executive Producer Steve Scully. In the role as Production Assistant, Benen has been involved in creating programming for C-SPAN Radio and the daily live TV program, conducting interviews with notable Congressmen, professors, and journalists, as well as researching current events for discussion. Benen also contributed to video editing for the Distant Learning Program at C-SPAN. Recognized for excellence as an intern, Benen attended a White House Press Conference featuring Presidents Obama and Bush Sr. Benen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech, earned between 2010 and 2013.
