John Gallagher

Producer, "washington Journal" at C-SPAN

John Gallagher is an experienced producer with a long-standing career in political journalism. Since July 2005, John has served as the producer for C-SPAN's "Washington Journal," a daily public affairs call-in program. Prior to this role, John worked at NBC from January 1998 to November 2001, where responsibilities included producing "Meet the Press" and contributing to the Politics and Polling Unit. Additionally, John held the position of reportorial producer in the Political Unit at ABC News from January 1995 to May 1997. John Gallagher graduated from Georgetown University with a BA in History and Theology and also studied at the University of Surrey in Guildford, UK.
