Terrence Nelson, M.S., is an accomplished producer with extensive experience in television production and media communications. Currently serving as a Producer at C-SPAN since July 2022, Nelson previously held the role of Segment Producer at BNC, focusing on social justice and politics. Nelson has significant experience as a Managing Broadcast Producer for Special Olympics, where responsibilities included liaising between Special Olympics and ESPN, overseeing video production, and coordinating international content distribution. In academia, Nelson served as a part-time professor at Johns Hopkins University, leading a fellowship program that produced documentaries on Baltimore. Additional experience includes producing for TV One, working as a freelance contributor for New York Daily News, and various roles at NBCUniversal, including casting assistant and production assistant. Nelson holds a Master's Degree in Communication and Media Studies and a Bachelor's in Marketing, both from Morgan State University.
