Lara Cooper is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in various high-profile roles. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Communications at C-Strategies Inc. since February 2021, Lara previously held the position of Vice President of Communications at Vote Yes For Fairness and Communications Director roles at both Vote Yes For Fairness and Think Big Illinois. Between January and December 2018, Lara was a Senior Communications Advisor at the Ohio Democratic Party and served as Press Secretary for the Office of the Virginia Attorney General in 2017. Additional experience includes Deputy Press Secretary for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and internships with Friends of Mary Landrieu and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. Lara holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Communications from Tulane University and has also studied at Charles University in Prague.
