Georgina Short is an experienced professional currently serving as the Deputy Director of Business Planning, Measurement & Innovation at C40 Cities since January 2020, following a previous role as Senior Business Manager. Prior to that, Georgina worked at the Coalition for Urban Transitions from September 2018 to January 2020 as a Strategic Partnerships & Engagement Officer, specializing in engagement and impact strategies for major global events. Georgina's experience also includes project management for C40 Cities' global event participation and contributions to city-led emissions reduction commitments. Earlier career milestones encompass legal positions at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Norton Rose Fulbright, as well as a role as a Legal Consultant for J.P. Morgan. Georgina obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Regulation from The London School of Economics and Political Science and has a solid academic background in law and languages.
