Programme Director C40 Cities Finance Facility at C40 Cities

Ingrid Simon is a seasoned professional in urban planning and infrastructure finance, currently serving as a Fellow at Belgium's 40 under 40 and Co-Director of the C40 Cities Finance Facility. Since September 2020, Ingrid has led C40's Climate Action Planning Programme in Southeast Asia, focusing on the development and implementation of long-term climate action plans aligned with the Paris Agreement. With previous experience at Mott MacDonald as an Infrastructure Adviser and cities practice lead in the Middle East, Ingrid managed multiple large-scale infrastructure projects, PPPs, and smart city strategies. Earlier roles include senior architectural designer and urban planner at ONG&ONG PTE LTD. Ingrid holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture from KU Leuven.
