Kathryn Daniels

Kathryn (Katie) Daniels serves as Managing Director and Head of Compliance at CPP Investments since May 2016, where the focus includes building a global compliance team and providing critical investment compliance advice. In addition, Kathryn is a Board Member at Ports America and previously held the role of Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law from September 2015 to September 2016, teaching Ethics in the Business Law Setting. With extensive experience at the Ontario Securities Commission from April 2000 to May 2016, Kathryn served in various capacities, including Deputy Director of Corporate Finance and Deputy Director of Enforcement, where a significant emphasis was placed on team culture and collaboration across diverse professional teams. Prior experience also includes roles at NASAA and Fasken Martineau DuMoulin. Kathryn holds an LLB and a GPLLM from the University of Toronto and a BA (Hons) in Political Science and Government from McMaster University.
