Melissa Pogue

Melissa Pogue currently serves as Managing Director of Research and Policy in Public Affairs & Communications at CPP Investments since July 2019, following a role as Director in the same area. Previously, Melissa held the position of Manager of Program Research, Operations and Evaluation in Talent Development at MaRS Discovery District from November 2017 to March 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Research Lead at Deloitte Canada’s Future of Canada Centre, and as a Research Associate at The Martin Prosperity Institute. Melissa began a career in research and policy as a Researcher and Policy Analyst at the Institute for Competitiveness & Prosperity. Academically, Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics from Queen's University, and a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto, along with additional courses from the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education at Toronto Metropolitan University.
