Conrad Gomes

Conrad Gomes has been working in the consumer electronics industry since 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Technical Lead at Sling Media, where they wrote high quality C code for Slingbox's first generation embedded platforms and implemented RTMP and Apple HLS stacks to support iOS and web based clients. Conrad also designed a TCP/IP socket relay module to enable RTMP and Apple HLS clients to connect to the Slingbox and developed the cloud based OTA upgrade module for the Slingbox. Additionally, they developed applications for certification and factory testing. From 2015 to present, Gomes has been a Principal Engineer at Caavo, where they have been a core developer of system and firmware software for Caavo's Android based consumer electronic product. Conrad has also shipped two generations of Caavo Control Center successfully to market working with multiple chip vendors and teams, as well as developed a WebRTC video conferencing system optimized for the Caavo Control center.

Conrad Gomes attended Goa University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned their B.E in Electronics & Telecommunications.
