Alex Grin is a seasoned technology leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in founding and leading tech companies. As Cofounder and Tech Lead at Cabin since July 2023, Alex continues to drive innovation. Previously, as Founder and CTO of LBRY from January 2016 to December 2022, Alex played a key role in developing decentralized technologies. During the tenure as Chief Technology Officer at Odysee from September 2020 to September 2021, Alex focused on advancing video-sharing platforms. Alex also founded TopScore in January 2011, growing it to serve over 500,000 athletes and processing tens of millions annually. Earlier, between June 2009 and December 2010, Alex developed a flexible fitness logging platform with WithFit, and as a Cognitive Scientist at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center from June 2008 to May 2009, Alex designed cognitive models for training conning officers. Alex holds a degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and graduated from Stuyvesant High School.

Cabin
Cabin neighborhoods are designed to cater to remote workers and creators who love nature. Our network city is made up of 21+ coliving properties around the world, including locations in France, Costa Rica, Portugal, Slovenia, Bali, Japan, and a dozen locations across the US. Over the last two years, we have built neighborhoods, rehabilitated orchards, designed tiny cabins, assembled saunas, housed creators, interviewed city builders, hosted dinner parties, played games, facilitated meaningful coliving, and gathered thoughtfully to make new friends and reimagine how we live. A "network city" is a set of globally distributed neighborhoods that have a shared culture, economy, and system of governance. We attract both residents and property owners who share our desire to create, colive, and conserve. Our online community can engage with each other and our properties via an integrated suite of apps that we have built at cabin.city
