Wilfrido Lara

Wilfrido Lara is an accomplished tax professional with extensive experience in tax management and planning. Currently serving as Tax Director at Cable & Wireless Communications since September 2018, Wilfrido previously held various leadership roles as Tax Director for Mexico, Central America & Caribe, and North America Generation at The AES Corporation from April 2007 to July 2018. Prior to that, Wilfrido was Tax Manager for Mexico and Central America at Kerry Group from October 2001 to April 2007 and began a career in finance as an Auditor at Deloitte from June 1999 to September 2001. Wilfrido holds a Master in Taxes with a focus on Tax Planning from Universidad de Guanajuato and an LCPF in Accounting and Finance from Tecnológico de Monterrey, alongside an educational experience at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in 2010.
