Cynthia A. Arnold

Dr. Arnold was Chief Technology Officer of The Valspar Corporation, a global paint and coatings company, from 2011 until her retirement in 2017. During her tenure with Valspar she was responsible for technology strategy, project portfolio and organizational development of the global technology function across eight Valspar businesses. Prior to joining Valspar in 2011, Dr. Arnold served as Chief Technology Officer at Sun Chemical Corporation, a producer of inks, coatings and supplies, pigments, polymers, liquid compounds, solid compounds and application materials. Dr. Arnold is a member of the Advisory Board for the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Minnesota. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for Fluence, a global provider of energy storage products as well as Milliken & Company, a global diversified industrial company for specialty chemicals, performance materials and textiles, and Citrine Informatics, an AI/machine learning software provider for chemical and material companies.
