More than two decades ago, Hernán Guaracao founded AL DÍA, a multi-platform news media organization which showcases the Latino experience in the United States.
Guaracao has served as President of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) as well as a Board Member of the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR), a national organization revolutionizing the inclusion and recognition of U.S. Latinos in corporate America today in the areas of employment, procurement, philanthropy, and governance.
Guaracao earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Bogota and a Master of Arts in Journalism and U.S. Media from the University of Iowa.
