Patrick Medina

Patrick Medina is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in machine learning and data science, currently serving as the Machine Learning Technical Lead at CACI International Inc. since January 2021. In this role, Patrick oversees a team focused on deploying advanced computer vision models for the NGA, employing MLOps best practices for scalable infrastructure and enterprise integration. Prior to this, Patrick held positions including Senior Principal Machine Learning Engineer and Senior Data Scientist, where responsibilities encompassed the deployment of computer vision models and leading research initiatives. Previous experience at Electromagnetic Systems, Inc. involved managing a team dedicated to applied research and development of computer vision capabilities, while academic contributions include a Ph.D. from Purdue University and significant research in advanced algorithms for gas flow simulations. Patrick's educational background also includes a Master’s in Mathematics from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor’s in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
