Will Rowley is a Project Delivery Engineer at Cadent Gas Limited since September 2017, overseeing the design, planning, construction, and commissioning of a pioneering high-pressure hydrogen pipeline in the North West. Previous roles within Cadent include Projects Supervisor and Network Operations Supervisor, where Will managed engineering projects to enhance the gas infrastructure and improved safety protocols on the distribution network. A graduate of the University of Sheffield with a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Will also completed a year in industry at Essar Oil (UK) Limited, gaining practical experience in mechanical engineering within an oil refinery. Will’s academic achievements include being named 2017 Cohort Graduate of the Year and a finalist for the IGEM Young Persons Paper presentation, reflecting a commitment to sustainability and engineering excellence.
