Andrew Karp

Andrew Karp is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as a Partner at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP since March 2024. Prior to this role, Andrew held the position of Deputy General Counsel at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) from June 2020 to March 2024. Andrew's extensive legal career includes significant experience at BMO Financial Group, where roles included General Counsel and EVP of BMO Harris Bank, as well as various leadership positions at BNY Mellon and Mayer Brown. Andrew began his legal career in the Federal Reserve Board as an Attorney. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University and a Doctor of Law from Vanderbilt University Law School.
